Auctionclass.com is the electronic distance learning program offered exclusively by Nashville Auction School to provide relevant and challenging continuing education courses which meet the requirements of state licensing boards while providing auctioneers the opportunity to learn and receive CE credits at their own pace.
Nashville Auction School pioneered online continuing education for auctioneers in 2002 and for five years we have been the leaders in online distance learning for auctioneers. In 2004, we partnered with the National Auctioneers Association and leased our programs to them. Throughout our affiliation with NAA, we continued to write classes, manage the program, and work with state licensing boards to insure our course offerings met state requirements.
Now, once again, we are leading the way. In November 2007, we reclaimed full control of our Online Continuing Education Program. We are working on new courses, a new look, a new rate structure, more state approvals, and a new format that incorporates cutting-edge technology with the learning process.
Courses Currently Offered
Advertising for Auctioneers
This Four Hour course is designed to teach you advertising fundamentals and ways of applying them to auction-marketing promotions and auction-specific advertising. This course focuses on the uses advertising rate sheets, insertion discounts, media effective studies, and planning. You will find it useful to be familiar with individual state advertising regulations and restrictions. This course is not, in any way, a primer on state-specific advertising law, rules or regulations.
Auction Math 201
This Three Hour course is designed to familiarize the student with mathematical equations used in the settlement of an auction and the subsequent disbursement of auction proceeds through practical mathematical problem solving.
Developing a Policies and Procedures Manual
This Three Hour course is designed for the professional auctioneer/auction business owner to assist them in developing or revising a policies and procedures manual for their auction company.
E-Marketing for Auctioneers
This four-hour course will build upon traditional marketing concepts and practices and incorporate basic electronic marketing elements toward building an effective marketing plan.
Environmental Issues in Auctioneering
This Four Hour course is designed to teach you about environmental issues facing the real estate auctioneer which can affect the sale and transfer of real property.
